[Eoscstudents] Menu for TGI Friday Aug. 25

Hi everyone,

Well, there are a few things going on that I wanted to let you know 
about to keep your weekend from being boring.  This evening at 6:00 p.m. 
at the Choctaw Community Center  the Annual Eastern Oklahoma State 
College Alumni Fish Fry will be held.   There will be good food and 
friends aplenty.  Our Cafeteria crew is working on some of the 
"fixin's", (that's Okie talk for side dishes), so it's guaranteed to be 
good. 

And for tomorrow, there's the Arkoma Community Driving Awareness Day 
event scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the EOSC Agriculture 
Complex.  There will be safety demonstrations, a NASCAR driving 
simulator, jaws of life demonstration, and several other interesting and 
educational exhibits to enjoy.  This event is held to promote safer 
driving habits and to call attention to the most common mistakes drivers 
make so that they will be aware of them and avoid them in the future.  
It could save your life or the lives of  your loved ones, so be sure and 
attend.

After that you can swing by the Hartshorne Public Library between 3:00 
p.m. and 5:00 p.m. for an appearance by the Midnight Riters, a group of 
ladies that have written a book together.   They sound like a feisty and 
interesting group.  It should be a fun gathering.

Our menu for today includes:

          Steak fingers
          Mashed potatoes and gravy
          Broccoli with cheese sauce
          Okra
          Rice
          Corn
          Baked potato bar
          Rolls

It's PIZZA day on the fast food line.

And for dessert, try some Bread Pudding.  I've always heard of this but 
never had any, so I'll get to try something new today.
