Hi folks,

It's good to hear from Rudy's email that the new building is so near
completion. And definitely good to know that the elevators have been
blessed. One of the ones in the building we're in has been out for
months, which has really curtailed what could be done in the Ballroom,
and the other one frequently throws fits and has to be looked at by an
elevator repairman. I believe it's cursed. (I know I've heard it be
cursed at before...) Some of our crew have finally gotten to go see
the new building for the first time from the inside today. Now we can
find out what the real cooking experts think about the new digs.

I thought we might get a little shower yesterday evening. I was outside
and it looked like just to the south the sky was clear and blue and just
to the north, it was full of menacing gray clouds. I even heard thunder
a time or two, but time went on, the world turned, and whatever rain I
thought we would get fell somewhere else. Oh well, it would've probably
just made it steamy anyway. And I'd've had to move kittens again.

Happy birthday wishes go out today to Mr. Agriculture himself, Leland
Walker. Hope he has a great day doing what he enjoys, especially if it
involves air conditioning.

Our menu for today includes:
          Indian tacos
          Pinto beans
          Crispy cube potatoes
          Corn
          Broccoli and rice casserole
          Baby carrots
          Chicken crispitos

And for dessert, have a piece of Chocolate Cake.

Keep cool,

Rhoda :-)
