[Eoscstudents] Menu for Thurs. June 25

Hi folks,

Believe it or not, I actually got sprinkled on a little bit going home 
yesterday.  (I had to check and make sure the drops were on the outside 
of the windshield, because I had a slightly nervous min-pin I'd picked 
up to foster drooling all over everything in the car and I thought it 
could've been coming from her.)   I've seen min-pins before but the ones 
I've seen were more like chihuahua size.  This one actually looks like a 
knee-high doberman.  She's bigger than our dogs and Thank God she's 
mellow because they tend to get grouchy when anyone new gets in their 
face and she wanted to sniff everyone and get acquainted, of course.  I 
was really afraid the cats would freak out and cause a problem, but I 
held her back far enough they saw she was not threatening them. 

Happy Birthday wishes go out today to our Human Resources director, 
Joyce Bills.  She's a really special person and I hope she has a super 
great day!  She deserves it!   And tomorrow, her equally great sister, 
Karen Clark, of our Registrar's office, will be celebrating her 
birthday, also.  I hope you both have a great celebration!

Music lovers should plan to attend the Curtis Howze and Friends concert, 
sponsored by the Latimer County Arts Council, and held at the 
Presbyterian Church at 7:00 this Saturday, June 26.  Admission is $10 
and free refreshments will be provided.  Tell your friends and come 
enjoy the great bluegrass and gospel music.

Our monthly PAWS meeting will be held this evening at the Latimer Public 
Library if any of you would like to attend.  We can always use more 
caring volunteers.  There are many more dogs out there than we can 
possibly take care of, so if you'd like to help, just come this evening 
at 7:00 and join up.

Our menu for today includes:
             Chili cheese dogs
             Meatloaf
             Mashed potatoes and gravy
             Blackeyed peas
             Corn
             Zucchini and tomatoes
             Hot rolls

And for dessert have a serving of Chocolate Chip Cookie Bar.
