Hi folks,

I hope everyone came prepared for chilly weather and possibly some more
rain today. I was glad to be indoors last night when it was really
coming down. It's time to be fixing up warm, dry places for any pets
(and plants) you just can't bring indoors for the winter. Larger dogs
will do okay outside with shelter and some warm bedding, but if you have
smaller dogs, they don't have the body mass to stand up to the cold
weather, and definitely need to be indoors when it gets so cold and
wet. (They make great foot warmers!)

Happy Birthday wishes go out today to Susie Smith, who has temporarily
caught up with me, and to our great state of Oklahoma who's older than
both of us put together!

Don't forget our Thanksgiving dinner is coming up this Wednesday, then
just a couple more days and we'll be off for Thanksgiving break! I
don't know anyone who's not looking forward to that! Just try not to
eat too much, especially if you're in the Biggest Loser contest. It'll
be over in just a few weeks and you don't want to lose all the headway
you've made already on a Thanksgiving binge.

Our menu for today includes:
Chicken and dumplings (Great for a chilly day like today!)
            Hot link on a bun
            French fries
            Loaded baked potatoes
            Broccoli cuts
            Succotash

And for dessert, have a piece of Fruit Cocktail Cake.

Have a great day!

Rhoda :-)
