Hello all,
There are still seats available in this semester's Native American
Literature course! Introduction to Contemporary Native American Literature
(NAS 2743) includes readings from N Scott Momaday, Zitkala-Sa, Vine Deloria
Jr, Leanne Howe, and Joy Harjo, among others!
The course will be presented in a hybrid format, with once-a-week in-person
lectures on the Wilburton campus and ITV options available for students on
the McAlester and Idabel campuses. The meetings are scheduled for 10 am on
Thursdays, so students can take both Choctaw and Native Lit with no
conflict!
If you're interested in learning more about the unique voices and literary
movements of Native American writers, talk to your advisor about enrolling
before this Friday, Aug 22!
Best,
