Dear K20 Colleagues,

But I hope some of you might help.  I am curious what others are doing
regarding permission or waivers for video capture and archiving.  Below
is the long standing policy at Montclair State for visitors, especially
for minors.  However, I am more interested in learning about how other
institutions are dealing with this issue since we are all moving beyond
the traditional audio, VHS and broadcasting arena into live video
conferencing, video streaming and video on demand. Obviously these
activities are placing faculty, staff, students, campus visitors (in
some cases children) and their intellectual and digital property in a
public space and at times just a click away. 

"Video Taping Visitors
The video permission form must be completed by the requester and signed
by the visitor (anyone who is not a student, staff or faculty member of
Montclair State University). In the case of minors, the requester must
secure the parent's or guardian's signature.  These forms are available
