[Oacrao-l] Concurrent Student and weekly eligibility status checks

Greetings David,
Yes, I have had numerous requests to provide this information...to the point that I have developed an eloquent, albeit tactful, reply.
"I understand that you need this information, but please understand that we are a college/university registrar's office and  we do not collect this information.  It is incumbent on your students to take whatever documentation you deem necessary to their instructor to obtain the signature &  relevant information.  It is your student's responsibility to return it to you in a timely manner.  It is part of their education of becoming adult & taking the initiative for their activities.  No, their parent cannot do this.  No, we have no intention of implementing a plan to collect this information.  Yes, I understand that it might mean your QB is not eligible to play this Friday. No, I do not feel guilty about this.  Yes, I can provide you with my supervisor's number.  She is the president of our institution & yes, we have already discussed this."
I have only had one request this fall & it was from a new principal.

We have been asked by one of the High Schools to provide weekly updates on their students regarding attendance and grades so that they can report to the OSSAA for students who are participating in activities.

Are any other colleges or Universities doing this and if so how?
