[Oacrao-l] Conferring Degrees

We confer when all coursework and degree requirements are completed. That
means if there is an incomplete grade as of the graduation date, the degree
cannot be conferred. An exception would be if the instructor forgot to
change the grade in time and confirms in writing the work was done before
the graduation date. In that case, we would retroactively confer.
