We do the same thing here at Southeastern.     It hasn't been a problem here.   Faculty like to receive a copy of the final grades and it does help us find any problems.

Our faculty submit grades electronically via our portal system.  They receive a confirmation email of their roster with the grades.  The roster has the studentid, name, & grade.  I also receive a confirmation email with the same information.  Does this raise any concerns for anyone and if so, why?
