We use many federal work study student employees in our office. We currently do not require that they sign a confidentiality agreement but it is always an aspect of our interview process where we ask them about their experience working with confidential information.

Good morning,

Do any of you utilize federal work study students in the Registrar's Office? I have had them sign confidentiality agreements and used them a great deal at other institutions, but have recently been told that due to the confidential peer information in the Registrar's Office, we would not be able to use them for any tasks where they could have access to other students' records.

What is your policy?
