[Oacrao-l] ACT scores reported on High School Transcript

Happy Friday!

I have a couple of questions about ACT scores reported on high school transcripts.

#1 - Does your institution accept typed ACT scores on the HS transcript? (not the copy of the sticker of scores from ACT - but typed by high school staff on the transcript).

#2 - If Yes, do you require the full battery of scores along with the test date for each assessment?

We have recently been receiving high school transcripts with only the "highest" scores listed for each sub-score. (Student has taken the assessment multiple times, and only the highest are reported on the transcript).
Additionally, some scores do not include dates and we cannot identify when the ACT was taken or if it was a National or Residual from possibly another institution.

(We do receive national ACT scores via electronic download, but are encountering this issue on students who did not have their scores sent by ACT to TCC.)

Are you observing anything like this on your campus? If you are, how are you handling?

Thanks so much, and have a great weekend,
Traci

P.S. Stay safe this weekend - Turn around, don't drown!
